This yummy warm smoothie—hello winter detox—was adapted from my fav celebrity gal Gwyneth’s website. I took the base that she uses when she is on a Junger CLEAN Cleanse and Nourished it up a bit. The result: a savoury, protein-infused and satisfying morning breakfast or 4 pm pick-me up.
- 1 cup warm brewed rooibos chai tea
- 2 TBLS chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1/2 cup almond or coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons almond butter
- TBLS Maple Syrup to sweeten a tad
- 1 TBLS hemp seeds
Blend and serve warm. Sprinkle top with cinnamon. Yum
