Walnut Crusted Salmon

I love love love wild salmon and this dish wowed me. Get a super dose of your Omega 3s here with this amazing dish–just in time for salmon season. Serve with green salad and your summer dinner is ready.


  • 4 OZ Wild pacific salmon
  • 1/3 cups Walnuts
  • 3 tbsp Nutritional yeast
  • 5 leaves Fresh basil
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 pinch Salt


  • Preheat oven to 450.
  • Place walnuts, nutritional yeast, basil, olive oil and salt in a food processor and pulse until ingredients well combined.
  • Spoon walnut mixture on top of salmon piece. Cover with foil and cook for 12-15 minutes.
  • Uncover the salmon & broil for additional 3-4 minutes.
