Who doesn’t love a good milkshake? Except this one is dairy free and free of all refined sugars. This is a rendition of what was once an all time favourite smoothie from one of my fav markets. Except now that we all are eating so damn clean, that one seems way to sweet now. How I love how the palette changes when we eat so well. So I have altered it just a bit to beat out a little of the sweetness and punched it up with even more goodness so it’s has even more protein, omegas, magnesium, potassium, iron, antioxidants and fiber. Careful it’s addictive.
- 2 cups unsweetened almond milk or hemp seed milk; or a mix of both
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 TBLS almond butter
- 2 soft dates, soaked over night
- 1TBSL raw cacao powder
- 1 TSP Chia seeds
- 1 TSP Hemp seeds
- 1 Large Kale leaf, just for kicks!
Add all ingredients to blender and blend till smooth and creamy—like a milkshake, right!
