Almond Satay Sauce
I love this protein packed Thai-inspired sauce. Topped on a meaty white fish or chicken, it’s simple, easy to make and delicious. I swapped out the typical peanut with almond butter to add extra calcium and protein.
- 1/2 cups Almond butter
- 2 tbsp Sesame oil
- 2 tbsp Fresh ginger grated
- 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper more if you like it spicier
- 3 tbsp Tamari
- 1/2 cup Water
- Sliced limes
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl and let sit for 25 minutes.
- Spoon on top fish, top with cilantro and lime wedges.
