I love this protein packed Thai-inspired sauce. Topped on a meaty white fish or chicken, it’s simple, easy to make and delicious. I swapped out the typical peanut with almond butter to add extra calcium and protein.
- 1/2 cup of almond butter
- 2 tbsp of sesame oil
- 2 tbsp of grated fresh ginger
- 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper, more if you like it spicier
- 3 tbsp of tamari
- 1/2 cup of water
- Cilantro, optional for garnish
- limes, cut in slices
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and let sit for 25 minutes.
Spoon on top fish, top with cilantro and lime wedges.
