Almond Satay Sauce

I love this protein packed Thai-inspired sauce. Topped on a meaty white fish or chicken, it’s simple, easy to make and delicious. I swapped out the typical peanut with almond butter to add extra calcium and protein.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cups Almond butter
  • 2 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp Fresh ginger grated
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper more if you like it spicier
  • 3 tbsp Tamari
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • Cilantro
  • Sliced limes

Instructions
 

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl and let sit for 25 minutes.
  • Spoon on top fish, top with cilantro and lime wedges.
