Figs—you either love them or hate them. I’m in the love camp. I mean I dig figs. I love their sweet richness and also their crazy health benefits. The little fig works its magic in all sorts of ways: Figs are one of nature’s best laxatives and are the top mucus-dissolving foods. Dissolving mucus, toxins and waste from the body and blood help enhance the inner glow that shows up in your face. Figs help lower blood pressure, are loaded in potassium, are high in fiber so you feel full longer, have anti-diabetic properties to help lower your blood sugars, and also ward off heart disease. This easy 4-ingredient dessert is a healthy hit with anyone in the love camp. Double, even triple the recipe. Trust me.
