OK, alternatives to dairy milk are clearly a must. Isn’t it time we ditch the dairy already? This is my favourite base for smoothies, over night oats and chia pudding. And as much as I love almond and other nut milks, they take a bit of preplanning and soaking. But hemp milk is a fast, easy and super delicious alternative for smoothie bases, in oatmeals and chia bowls, coffees, even warmed up at night for that tasty creamy drink. Not only is it easy, but hemp milk is a nutritional powerhouse loaded in those healthy omega fats—the fats we need—proteins, vitamins B, A, E and minerals like calcium, potassium, magnesium and zinc. Need I say more? Get blending. It lasts in the fridge for about 3 days. When making more, this freezes easily.
