It’s busy I know. Summer already seems forever ago. And with schedules shifting from fun-filled sunny beach days to a chillier and busier routine driven day, it’s even more important to make yourself a priority.So this fall, all back to you with these simple no time taking strategies:
1) DRINK LEMON WATER FIRST THING IN THE AM
Warm water and a squeeze of lemon takes no time. Make this the first thing you put into your body. This quick flush and detox alkalizes the body and sets digestion up for the whole day.
2) EAT TONS OF GREENS
Incorporate more greens into your diet. Make them the base. I know I always say this. Greens are my God, way Cheaper than therapy. Fights depression, exhaustion, helps in weight management and those evil sugar cravings at bay. Kale, spinach, chard … The greener the better. Drink my favourite Green Go-Go Juice everyday. Time saving tip: Since it’s really a smoothie, make a huge batch and store in fridge for up to 3 days.
Move your body. Movement heals everything. If you are tired, it invigorates; if you are upset, cranky, endorphins help you overcome that mood; if you are confused, it helps gain clarity. Do yoga, run, bike, take a class, whatever it is, it will heal. Get there!
4) BODY BRUSH
Everyday before jumping in the shower or upon rising, dry brush thy body in swift circular motions. This flushes toxins, gets lymphs moving and is a great skin smoother. Make it a ritual. This is your time.
5) NOTICE HABITS
Become aware of the little things you do everyday. Are they just habitual? Liberate yourself and break a pattern that is not serving you. Watch the change in you and around you.
